Integrity policy for statistical publications

To enable Ofqual to perform its duties, information collected and reported has to be accurate, timely and informative. The whole process is overseen by the , which is drawn up and enforced by the .

The code is based upon three pillars – trustworthiness, quality and value. The pillars are further divided into various principles. The principle of (part of trustworthiness) requires that:

People in organisations that release statistics should be truthful, impartial and independent, and meet consistent standards of behaviour that reflect the wider public good.
